Commentary on computing

Fits

The First
The Second

Digitalis is a drug, derived from the plant foxglove. In small doses, it is good for the heart. In larger doses, it's lethal.

I find this an interesting concept. And it's an idea that I see in many forms, with many activities. Like computers.

I'm hoping to produce a monthly article, which I'll call a fit, with my comments on one or another aspect of computing. Considering the range of activities computer can or could influence, I figure I've got a lot of room to play in.

If you have comments about these articles, or wish to contact me, please do. My only request is that you have a valid return address before you send your article. It's heartbreaking to me to read an interesting or ridiculous comment, respond to it, only to have the message bounce because of poor addressing.

.rory.
